Checkin debuts in the Dominican Republic with a 5-star resort in Punta Cana


The Spanish chain Checkin Hotel Group is entering the Dominican tourism market with a new 5-star resort in Punta Cana. The complex is located on the beachfront in a privileged location, in the Cabeza de Toro area, one of the main tourist destinations in the country, according to ‘Desarrollo Hotelero’.


The Bakour Punta Cana Suites establishment offers an all-inclusive service. It has 42 rooms and 130 apartments with all the facilities and amenities and is scheduled to open on February 1, this year.


The aforementioned accommodation center has a large outdoor pool surrounded by an extensive solarium, a gym and a SPA & Wellness center, among its most outstanding spaces.


The resort offers a complete all-inclusive service, which includes a selection of drinks and snacks to enjoy in its buffet restaurant, the lobby bar and the beach bar.


Checkin Hotel Group is a Spanish hotel chain that has more than 2,700 rooms and currently manages 24 hotels. With the addition of the Punta Cana resort, the number will reach 25 establishments.


The chain, which was founded in 2013, plans to add new hotels in the coming months.
