President Luis Abinader will lead the official inauguration of El Dorado Water Park in Cap Cana tomorrow, September 13, along with other business and tourism authorities.
El Dorado Water Park Cap Cana is a world-class water fun destination that combines exciting attractions, beautiful natural surroundings and exceptional amenities.
The construction of the El Dorado Water Park in Cap Cana was formally started in December 2021, in an event led by President Abinader and the Minister of Tourism, David Collado.
It was then announced as “a theme park of water attractions designed with the concept of the myth of the famous city of El Dorado, lost in the rainforests of America, and which for centuries has been the goal of all treasure seekers.”
“Our tourism model is a world reference and will continue to be so for offers and investment bets like this. It is the way to distinguish ourselves, to stand out and lead the market; employment, investment, leadership and innovation.”
The complete project will have three phases to be developed on an area of 115,000 square meters. The first phase will consist of a water park with a capacity for 3,000 people, which will be called “The Water Temple,” an amphitheater, “El Dorado Arena,” with a capacity for 4,000 people, and the restaurants, bars and shops that accompany them.
The project has foreign investment from businessman Carlos Cobiella and GAM Capital, the leading investment fund manager for corporate development funds.
