Adventure Parks feature an exhilarating experience for those who are up to the challenge. They come in all colors and sizes, some develop on the water, other on land and others in the sky! Adventure Parks are famous for bringing tradition and nature together, each of them in their own way. For your next vacation, visit one of the adventure parks located in Punta Cana and experience a wide range of outdoor activities and excursions in the same place, on the same day. Play, Explore, Adventure, Relax, All In One Place!

Adventure parks offer kids and adults the opportunity for active family fun. Find adventures suitable for all ages, energy levels, abilities, or interests. Unique zipline, horseback rides where you can observe beautiful landscapes and discover wildlife along the way, incredible waterfalls and hanging bridges are some of the activities you can find there.

Let’s have a look at the best Adventure Parks you can enjoy in Punta Cana for the new upcoming season:

1- BAVARO ADVENTURE PARK

Bavaro Adventure Park is an outdoor adventure theme park in a natural and ecologically sustainable environment. 44 hectares of land, 5.5 km of ecological trails, sustainable architecture based on used containers and recycled materials. The park offers resting areas, souvenirs and photo shops, a children’s play area, bathrooms with showers, lockers, a restaurant, and hydration points throughout the park, among other services. It’s the largest adventure park in Punta Cana.

2- SCAPE PARK

Scape Park is an ecological park located in the heart of Cap Cana, an exclusive residential destination in the east coast of the Dominican Republic. Multiple caves, caverns, and cenotes (natural lagoons) are found within the unique landscape of Scape Park, including the renowned and iconic Blue Hole cenote (El Hoyo Azul), one of the most famous things to see in Punta Cana. Scape Park offers all kinds of attractions for every taste, the widest selection of activities which can be done separately or combined together. It’s also the only park that offers the possibility to combine the land activities with a catamaran cruise.

3- LA HACIENDA PARK

Another option if you’re looking for different experiences in just one place is offered by La Hacienda Park. Located in the Anamuya mountain, this park offers 7 different activities including buggies, zipline and horseback but no cenotes or waterfalls like the 2 biggest parks so, if you’re looking for water activities as well, we don’t recommend this park. Each activity lasts approximately 1 hour, a typical local experience with the ultimate modern security system. Entry ticket includes lunch and also the chance to experience the only chairlift in the Dominican Republic.

4- HACIENDA TUKO ECO ADVENTURE PARK

Hacienda Tuko is a tourist eco adventure park that shows the Dominican culture while having some fun. The park offers only 3 main activities: zip line, horseback riding and dune buggies, but also the ticket is less expensive than the other parks so, if you’re looking for a budget friendly option, this could be the one. Lunch is included as well as a visit to Macao beach on the way back to your hotel.

5- TRIPLE JUNGLE ADVENTURE PARK

Discover spectacular landscapes and explore an incredible journey through unusual terrain with your friends and family. This “3 combo activity” pack offered by Runner Adventures gives you the chance to combine one of their most popular excursions (Monkey Land) together with zipline and dune buggies. The buggies are all Honda Pionner 700, among the best in the market, for a safe and pleasant ride.

Our Recommendations

Before booking any ticket make sure to know the restrictions and go prepared. All these parks (and especially the first 2, Bavaro Adventure Park and Scape Park) apply many restrictions to their guests once they are inside, so knowing their restrictions will help you to avoid bad surprises and come prepared.

Often the price of the ticket is not enough to enjoy the park amenities in full. Phones for example are not allowed inside for safety purposes (or better business purposes?), so you will be forced to buy pictures to have memories of the day. During the activities you can’t take any belongings with you, so lockers as well are mandatory and usually not free. All the parks include lunch in the package, but not all of them include the drinks, so also in this case you need to buy them separately.

We always suggest that you read the reviews online, especially the bad ones, and see what other customers say about the park you are interested in visiting. It will definitely help you to avoid the same situations and have an enjoyable experience.
