Cap Cana: a sustainable, innovative and safe city

Cap Cana is nowadays a private real estate, tourist and hotel city that has grown and developed thanks to the investment of investors, with a magnificent infrastructure of services that has given it great international recognition.

Talking about Cap Cana is immediately imagining luxury, exclusivity, peace, security and above all tropical beauty in one place.

The Destination City offers a unique lifestyle with different options that adapt to the needs of all the people who live and travel in it. Luxurious villas, apartments facing the sea, lots, multiple opportunities for promoters and developers combined with the quality that characterizes them. Thus demonstrating that it is also a place that contributes directly and indirectly to the economy of the Dominican Republic, generating foreign currency, creating jobs, attracting third-party investments, both national and foreign, and creating new forms of tourism development with the diversification that is currently being reinforced there.

We can see this diversification in the tourist activities that have taken place beyond just sun and beach, such as eco-adventure parks like Scape Park, water parks like El Dorado, in cultural activities such as mass concerts, community events, festivals, awards ceremonies, conventions, golf and fishing tournaments, as well as hundreds of sporting activities.

Cap Cana has the distinction of being a city where you can find everything you need. It was created so that its guests and residents do not have to leave it, where you can find everything from education to basic services, combined with a variety of activities to enjoy with families, couples or alone, but always accompanied by an air of well-being and joy.

All this wealth that characterizes Cap Cana is not by chance.

This city was born in a very planned way from the beginning and it was from then on that the dream of building it into what it has become today was born. It was born first of all with a very solid infrastructure of services that allows homes to not lack water, electricity or telecommunications services in an underground way, thus creating a sustainable city and reducing all visual pollution to a minimum.

Cap Cana is currently working tirelessly on the modernization and adaptation of technological systems that aim for safety, innovation and greater sustainability. It has speed monitoring radars on the central roads that serve a dual purpose: helping to maintain controlled and safe speeds, and managing vehicle traceability within the destination. Currently, tests have also begun for the implementation of facial recognition technology in some areas of the destination that will later be transferred to other areas, as well as secondary access to work areas using fingerprints, QR codes, and RFID cards.

And for the protection of residential areas, avenues, and streets, it uses technologies for face recognition, license plates, vehicle counting, pedestrian counting, tracking vehicles/license plates or people of interest. This project is still in its initial phase and will take several months to implement given its magnitude.

Cap Cana is certainly more than a destination, a city where harmony is in the air; a place where beauty catches your eye, and where you can also enjoy the freedom and confidence you desire. A source of massive employment, a new bet on tourism, a contribution to the industrial sector, the business sector, the government sector, but above all to Dominican society; a society that today enjoys growing, strengthened and hopeful tourism thanks to the efforts of its leaders, but above all to the support and incentives that back the sector for its modernization and continued development.
