Hyatt Hotels Corporation, in collaboration with Grupo Martinon, announced the official opening of the Royal Beach Hotel Punta Cana, marking the debut of the JdV by Hyatt brand in the Caribbean.
The highly anticipated opening offers an exclusive experience for leisure and business travelers. The hotel offers 66 rooms that join Hyatt’s Lifestyle portfolio and is located 25 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport.
With this, the Dominican Republic’s opening joins more than 55 JdV by Hyatt branded hotels worldwide, in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia.
“After an extensive renovation, we look forward to welcoming business and leisure travelers to connect and live in the moment with endless opportunities to explore the local environment, including white sand and crystalline beaches,” said Juan Alejandro Sánchez, general manager of the Royal Beach Hotel Punta Cana.
He stated, “It is a pleasure to be part of this emblematic project and to debut the JdV by Hyatt brand in the Caribbean.”
The property, located in El Cortecito, reflects the local spirit with multifunctional amenities where guests can purchase an all-inclusive day pass to nearby Hyatt Inclusive Collection resorts, such as Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana for US$60 and Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana for US$50.
Guests with a day pass have full access to Los Corales Beach’s tennis and pickleball courts, basketball courts, restaurants, bars, and more.
Additionally, the Royal Beach Hotel Punta Cana invites guests to enjoy a culinary experience at Ambar Fusion Cuisine, its signature restaurant.
For a more relaxed experience, guests can unwind at Bar Colón, the hotel’s pool bar, featuring snacks and signature drinks. The Royal Beach Lobby Bar is a lively meeting point where both locals and tourists can enjoy select cocktails, fine wines, or a cup of coffee and tea.
